Community Involvement

Northwestern Mutual – Lancaster is a proud sponsor of Millersville University’s Athletic Scholarship Program which providing assistance to worthy students seeking a higher education.  Through our corporate investment and hands-on support of educational programming,  our Lancaster Office assists Millersville University’s 400 student-athletes excel on the field and in the classroom.   Our next main-sponsored event  is Wednesday, December 4th at the Men's/Women's Basketball game; come out to not only enjoy the game but to visit us at our tent!

 

Over the past year, Northwestern Mutual - Lancaster has been volunteering with the Schreiber Pediatrics Rehab Center.  From helping out with their Annual Volleyball Bash to running the 'Duckie Pot Luckie' game at their 25th Annual Rubbie Duckie Race we have truly enjoyed our time spent together!  We look forward to spending more time with the organzation, other volunteers, and the youth we are helping to support!  (Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center offers premier outpatient physical, occupational and speech-language therapy to children with
disabilities, developmental delays and acquired injuries.)

 

 

 

On October 7th2012, Northwestern Mutual Eastern Pennsylvania sponsored and participated in The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia 10thAnnual Buddy Walk and Family Fun Day.  Over $250,000 was raised to benefit the Trisomy 21 Program at CHOP and the National Down Syndrome Society.  The Buddy Walk drew approximately 4,000 mothers, fathers, grandparents and children from the tri-state area for a day filled with fun.  We are participating again this year on Sunday, October 6th, 2013!
